to this trip, this flight that president obama is on right now. imagine this, sitting around the conference table of the private conference room on board air force one, the obamas as well as formser president george w. bush and first lady laura bush and former secretary of state hillary clinton, also, of course, the former first lady and all were told we're told by a white house official discussing their various experiences with nelson mandela which span over three administrations. so quite a conversation you'd want to be a fly on the wall for. we are expecting, as well, that president obama may be touching base with nelson mandela's wife gra gracamachel, certainly something he's interested in doing. this is a such a logistical feat when you think of all these world leaders going to south africa and how big an effort this is to get president obama there. because mandela has been ill for so long, unfortunately, this is something they had some time to plan for. >> there could be a little diplomatic awkwardness on the podium. the program has been released by the south african government. we se

to look at it right now. when people talk about obama care they forget about all the positives. the fact that right now for me in college i'm not paying any higher premium. i'm allowed to stay on my parents' health insurance until i'm 26 because of obama care. when i end up finding my own plan which i do plan on doing once i turn 26, i will not be denied for any pre-existing conditions, i'm not going to be denied because i'm a woman, i won't pay any higher charges. i think those are very important things to focus on but back to your point about student loan debt, i don't necessarily see it as a trade-off that way because i know a lot of people will not be able to be covered because of their parents because they're able to stay with them until they're 26 but with student loan, that's something that's tackled in a separate way but putting the two together -- >> i don't know, charlie, it's just expenses. you all have expenses, i got expenses, and i'm just trying to figure out how this is going to work out. look, what do numbers show from this harvard poll, it's that young people are going t

to south africa right now to attend the memorial service for nelson mandela. president obama and first lady michelleby boarded air force one about three hours ago. also on air force one for the trip to south africa and the funeral, former president george w. bush, laura bush and former secretary of state, hillary clinton. former presidents jimmy carter and bill clinton will attend the memorial but they are traveling separately. the only living former u.s. president not going is george h.w. bush. his spokesman said the 89-year- old is not able to travel long distances. in south africa people continue to gather outside of mandela's house in johannesburg. the memorial will be held in a soccer field that seats 95,000 people. then his body will lie in state in pretoria weand through friday and on sunday, he will be buried in the remote village where he grew up. >>> a community meeting later tonight over complaints from airplane noise. that will be the main focus. people started complaining during the summer after a startup company called surf air started to fly louder planes out of the airport.

watching us right now, we do expect president obama to travel to south africa for the memorial service for nelson mandela, hearing that from a source familiar with that kind of planning, and in just the last several minutes, don't really have anything more on that, about you as you heard the president saying in his brief remarks just a few moments ago, obviously nelson mandela is one of his heroes, somebody who touched president obama's life when he was a young man in occidental college many years ago, the first political act as a young man was to go to an anti-apartheid rally. that stayed with president obama all through his life. nelson mandela was sort of always with president obama, and as you heard in the white house briefing room, he said nelson mandela is no longer with us, he is with the ages. president obama tried to visit nelson mandela over the summer when the president was traveling across africa. he was not able to do that, because nelson mandela was sick, but he was able to visit with the civil rights and anti-apartheid icon back in 2005 when barack obama was a member of
